Lower Madison River Fishing Report

1160CFS @ Below Ennis - The Lower Madison River has been pretty good lately but the fish really seem to be podded up in the deeper holes. The river has good clarity and it in great shape for wading or floating. If you head over and float, concentrate on the deeper runs and don't be afraid to stop in the deeper runs where the fishing has been more productive. Dry fly fishing has been tough but we should start to see more baetis with the right weather.
