Simms Headwaters Stockingfoot Wader

The Simms Headwaters Stockingfoot wader may be one of the best values in a Gore-tex wader on the market.  The Headwaters Stockingfoot wader starts with 3-layer Gore-tex material throught the legs and body to allow for a lighter feel and more mobility throughout.  For added durability, an extra nylon panel is placed only on the front of the articulated legs to help with punctures and scratches.  Again, without the extra layers of material wrapping completely around the leg, more mobility is gained with your legs in this wader making it a great wader for the active fisherman. 

While the Simms Headwaters wader is not the most expensive wader in the Simms line, it is certainly not short on features.  The Headwaters wader features the same Simms articulated feet, built-it gravel guards, articulated knees, belt loops, fleece lined handwarmer pocket and front stash pocket with velcro closure.  The only real external feature missing from the Headwaters wader is the interior flip-out tippet tender pocket which was left out to keep weight and costs down. 

If you are not looking to spend a fortune on waders but are still looking for a good, durable Gore-tex wader, the Simms Headwaters may just be the perfect fit.
