Spring Creek Fishing Reports

The Spring Creeks south of Livingston are an excellent choice this time of the year. Winter rates are still in effect until April 15th and more fish seem to be moving in from the Yellowstone River daily. After the 15th, the rates go up, but the fishing only gets better. Dry fly fishing has been decent for the patient angler. Baetis and midges have been out in decent numbers on the overcast days. Wind has been a factor as well. Nymphing has been excellent. If you head over, be cautious of where you wade and please stay off the redds.
