7480 CFS @ Corwin - The Yellowstone River has been slowly dropping over the past few days and is starting to come into shape much earlier than expected. The river is still very high at the moment but nymphing along the banks should be productive. Look for the softer slower pockets to find fish and please be careful if you head over.

10,900 CFS @ Corwin - While the Yellowstone hasn't peaked in flows (at least we hope not), it's still running quite high and very dirty. Wading will be dangerous, and floating is best left to the absolute experts. We'd recommend trying to fish just about anywhere else at the moment.

8090 CFS @ Corwin - While the flows on the Yellowstone River have not yet risen to springtime highs, it is still too dirty to fish at the moment. There are certainly better options. If you do float, please be cautious with the higher water.

7810 CFS @ Corwin - The Stone is still running high and dirty and is in the early stages of runoff. Fishing and wading can be somewhat treacherous at the moment, so we advise extreme caution if you're planning on fishing the Yellowstone anytime soon. There are much better options at the moment in and around the Gallatin Valley, but big, ugly flies could still catch fish in the soft water along the banks.
Recommended Flies:
Mongrel Meat, Black #1
Sculpin Leech, Black #4
BH Bugger, Hot Red, Black #8
Rubberlegs #4
Spark Plug #8

3750 CFS @ Corwin - The caddis hatch has exploded on the Yellowstone the last couple of days and fish have been rising throughout the afternoon and evening. Nymphing is still a great option right now. You can't go wrong with a Pat's rubberleg trailed by a caddis pupa. Fishing with a flashy articulated streamer has been moving fish as well.
Recommended Flies:
Elk Hair Caddis Olive #18
Iceburg Caddis UV Olive #16
Rubberleg Brown #8
Good & Plenty Olive #16
Articulated Sparkle Minnow #4
